Jen grew up in Sonoma County, spending countless afternoons picnicking at the wineries in Dry Creek Valley and Sonoma Valley. After college in Santa Barbara, Jen’s travels took her to England, where she lived for a few years before deciding it was really time to get home to the coast, redwoods, and vineyards she pined for. It wasn’t a tough sell, so she and her husband relocated from Oxford and settled in Santa Rosa.
Spoilt for choice in this part of the world, Jen and her family love to spend time in the local state and regional parks as well as getting to San Francisco to visit museums.
One of Jen’s favorite years was 2004, when she got married in Healdsburg. Sonoma County Pinot from that year has been described as having “strawberry, violet and root beer aromas” and “intense cherry and wild raspberry flavors” – descriptions that sum up all of the things she loves about Williams Selyem’s specialty.
