Administrative Assistant
Born and raised in Sonoma County, Rachel is part of a seven-generation farming family who first settled in the area in 1858. After graduating with highest honors from University of San Francisco in May 2015, Rachel found herself working in the tasting room at Robert Young Estate Winery while she looked for a full-time job.
After a few months, she was asked by the winemaker to work the harvest as a season intern and the rest is history. After getting a taste of wine production, Rachel was hooked on the industry as a whole and the romance of making wine. For the past 8 years, she has worked in multiple capacities for both the vineyard and winery operations at Robert Young. Rachel is looking forward to expanding her experience and palate (from Cabernet to Pinot Noir) working with the team at Williams Selyem.
Rachel lives in Cloverdale with her husband, Chad and their spunky 3-year-old, Reese. When not at work, she enjoys assisting Chad with his woodworking projects, getting outside and sharing a meal and wine with family and friends.
