While our production has expanded to include nearby appellations and small offerings of Chardonnay and Zinfandel, these wines, and our flagship Pinot Noir, are still extremely limited in production.

Open Positions

Williams Selyem is searching for a Warehouse Associate. This position supports our hospitality, marketing, sales, and customer service teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accurately and efficiently pack and ship customer orders at the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
  • Help facilitate customer order pickups at the winery.
  • Support the Warehouse Supervisor with intra-winery transfers of inventory for Tasting Salon, including monthly reconciliation of physical inventory.
  • Safely and accurately receive in and restock inventory from off-site storage warehouses.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures; communicate hazards and/or suggest improvements to the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment, including but not limited to the following: forklifts, pallet jacks, shrink wrap machines, and other miscellaneous warehouse equipment, as needed.
  • Participate in counting of physical inventory.
  • Special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Support sales, marketing, and event initiatives, including on- and off-site events.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Have a background in high-end wine and/or luxury goods logistics.
  • Effective and professional written and oral communication skills.
  • Have a strong work-ethic in an independent environment while displaying attention to detail.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Basic level wine knowledge is helpful.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, or similar discipline.
  • Wine industry experience is helpful but not required.
  • Ability to obtain forklift certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Occasional availability to work weekends, holidays, and special events.
  • Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time as required by job duties.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Warehouse environment.
  • May be subjected to loud noise, temperature, and weather extremes.

COMPENSATION

  • This position is part-time; weekend, holiday, and special event availability required.
  • $20-25/hr.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
– This position supports our tasting salon team by washing and buffing glasses, carrying glasses and wine, and assisting with the set-up and breakdown of our tasting table settings
– Assist hospitality staff with hospitality duties
– Pack and carry wine orders for customers
– Assist with maintaining clean, safe, efficient, and well-stocked work areas
– Uphold high standards of hospitality and deliver superior customer service experience

QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have previous tasting room, restaurant, or food service experience. Ability to prioritize work, maintain a positive “can do” attitude. The ability to change and adapt to a quick- changing environment. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule when needed. Must be able to regularly lift and carry 50 lbs. This is a part-time position primarily on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. One other day as assigned when needed up to 29 hours per week.
