DTC Manager
Kim’s interest in the wine industry began during her college years at UC Davis where she received her undergraduate degree in Food Biochemistry.
After graduation, she moved to the Bay Area and worked for Pepsi Cola in laboratory product testing, and managed the Quality Control department. She then moved to Laguna Hills with plans to change direction to Product Development for Taco Bell, then she settled in San Diego and started a family.
She moved to Sonoma County in 2003, took up road cycling, and found herself exploring the winding backroads of the Russian River and Dry Creek Valley appellations. She quickly immersed herself in the region and by the ad hoc approach of visiting wineries and enrolling in local community based education, her interest in the wine country lifestyle blossomed. Like so many that interest grew into more than a hobby, and in 2013 she joined Williams Selyem.
Away from work, she is an avid road cyclist, competitive tennis player and aspiring trapeze artist, and very much enjoys cooking and entertaining friends at home. Her favorite start to a delightful evening is preparing fresh ahi poke with seaweed, avocado, and black sesame seeds and pairing with limited production Williams Selyem Chenin Blanc or Vin Gris.
